My dream bohemian inspired vacation spots

Does anyone else find themselves day dreaming about their next vacation on a daily basis? Right now, it feels like a bit of a tease doesn’t it!?

I know the concept of paradise means something different to each and every one of us. For me personally, it’s somewhere with a crystal blue sea, a hundred shades of blue swimming around my feet and feeling the softest white sand between my toes while sipping on a cocktail…or five.

I follow the journeys of some of the most inspiring travel influencers on Instagram - which means my vacation wish list dramatically increases every day. I have put together a list of my dream bohemian inspired vacation spots – do these beautiful places even exist? Perhaps they’ll make their way onto your wish list… Let me know which one you’d most like to visit.

Bali / Kayon Jungle Resort inspired by Positravelty

A rural escape just minutes away from the cultural heart of Ubud. Its bohemian-chic interior is surrounded by the natural beauty of the Kayon Jungle. Imagine waking up to the wildlife of the jungle and these mesmerising views every day. Yes please!

Maldives / Six Senses Laamu inspired by Travel A Little Luxe

Time to connect with your inner boho-girl and embrace salty and tousled hair. Here, you can live in a haven surrounded by warm sapphire seas and swim with the wild dolphins day after day. Described as an idyllic palm-fringed paradise – Six Senses calls to me.

Guatemala / La Fortuna Atitlan inspired by The Dharma Trails

For me personally, I like to vacation on the beach. I love the sound of the sea, the wildlife that comes with it, and the feel of the sand between my toes. However, these idyllic views have inspired me to seek out something totally new. A family-owned eco-boutique hotel located on the stunning shores of Lake Atitlan. Picture yourself waking up to a jungle on one side and a lake on the other. I would love to get toasty in the wood fired hot tub after a good day exploring

Mexico / Papaya Playa Project inspired by Annies Bucketlist

Boho through and through. Cocooned by the jungle on the pristine Caribbean coast, PPP is described as a communal playground for the creative community, letting you reconnect to nature with an urban spirit. Now if that doesn’t speak Boho life then I don’t know what does. Get me there!

Sri Lanka / Wild Coast Lodge inspired by Christina Satdarova

Sri Lanka has always been on my wish list, but this resort looks like utter perfection. Located next to the Yala National Park, famous for its leopard population, Wild Coast Lodge is a luxury tented camp nestled on an empty beach overlooking the Indian Ocean. Bliss.
